I spotted this ad in Tuesday’s New York Times. Visiting the website, readers may select a state where a teachers union is active, then read collections of anti-union data to their hearts’ content.
This comes at a great time for Florida, when the Lege is looking to reduce its funding obligation to public schools. Meanwhile, in Miami-Dade, teachers are demonstrating downtown to drive home their disgust with a system that wants to balance a budget with shrinking revenues on their paychecks and benefits.
“We’re looking to the future, seeing the big picture,” declared State Senator Orvill Bupkis. “Once we deport our illegal aliens, we’ll need an uneducated Florida homegrown workforce to pick our grapefruits and tomatoes. What we’re doing today will look pretty damn smart tomorrow!”
