Bullet Holy

Maryville, IL  – Illinois state police say a man has shot a pastor to death and injured others at an church during a service in the community of Maryville.

Illinois Master Trooper Ralph Timmins says the man walked down the aisle during the early Sunday service at First Baptist Church in Maryville.   He said the man exchanged words with pastor Fred Winters and then pulled out a .45-caliber handgun.

Timmins said the man fatally shot Winters once before the gun jammed, then pulled out a knife and wounded himself.  Timmins said officials don’t know if Winters and the suspect know each other.  — Richmond Times-Dispatch

Good thing he had a blade for a back-up plan.  Does every Christian lion hearted man among us share my fervent prayer that he successfully killed himself, saving us all the agony of hearing defense lawyers plead his unsuitability to stand trial based on his insanity?

nk_hw_gun_crucifix_logoBut what I really want to know is, Why wasn’t Rev Winters armed?  Without a weapon under his robe, the poor sap was a sitting duck!  This is an outrage!  The pews of America are filled with pugilists, angry, dangerous Christian terrorists who will stop at nothing tro carry forward the will of the Lord.  Pastors need their guns!

Even in Enlightened Arkansas, Bill Clinton’s home state, pastors are under siege by goody-two shoed liberal self-hating pastors who refuse to face reality:

Little Rick, AK. – A state Senate panel has rejected a bill that would allow concealed handguns in Arkansas churches, a proposal that divided religious leaders. The measure would have removed churches and other houses of worship from the list of places where concealed handguns are banned in Arkansas. Only churches and bars are on that list.  The House approved the measure earlier this month. The Senate Judiciary Committee stalled the bill on a voice vote Wednesday.

Debra Carl Freeman, pastor of Westover Hills Presbyterian Church in Little Rock, told lawmakers that the proposal went against the nature of churches.  She said the bill “would fundamentally change the perception of sanctuaries in this state from places of safety, peace and openness into those of fear and suspicion.”   ChristianPost.com

See the trend here?  This is outrageous.  If a man can take his guns into a hospital, school, courtroom, and post office, then by god he should be allowed to carry them into his church and taproom.  Which means his pastor (and bartender) needs to be armed and ready as well.

How can you reasonably expect to worship god and/or get shit-faced drunk without the security of your gun?  And shouldn’t the pastor and bartender be allowed to defend himself should you choose to implement your 2nd Amendement freedom by firing it at them?  What is happening to my America?

I find it hard to believe that after 42 days in office, President Obama hasn’t resolved this problem.  Damn elitist Muslim socialist furriner.

Yes, for sure the answer to gun violence is more people carrying more guns. An armed society is a polite society. But we better budget for more medical and janitorial services, because somebody’s going to have to clean up all those impolite people and their slower victims.

  2. Ortho Stice says:

Wrong approach, Squattie. There’s no need to take a gun to church. Instead, accumulate enough guns so you don’t need God.

What in hell is this nation is coming to when a free American citizen is prohibited from worshipping both his God and his Gun at the same time and place?
