I don’t know how I missed this, but it’s Palindrome Week. Every day this week is a Palindrome: 4/13/14; 4/14/14; 4/15/14; 4/16/14; 4/17/14; 4/18/14; and 4/19/14.
No, a Palindrome is not a misspelled place occupied by a former Alaska governor. It’s a “word, phrase, number, or other sequence of symbols or elements, whose meaning may be interpreted the same way in either forward or reverse direction.” Here’s a comprehensive list, guarateed to both charm and annoy.
The newest addition seems to be TacoCat. I remain fond of Flee to me remote elf. Got a favorite?
Very neat. Did you know that ‘Happy Palidrome Week’ spelled backwards is ‘Keew Emordinlap Yppah’? Isn’t that amazing? Inquiring (and detached) minds want to know.
Mine remains, “Dammit I’m mad”!
Actually, “syrbal-labrys” counts, doesn’t it?
LOL…well, yes, now that you mention it, it does!
This is a dyslexic’s tew maerd.
STRESSED!! Mmmmmm
