In Your Heart You Know He’s [Far] Right

tin foilNow that SCOTUS has confirmed that unlike women, closely held corporations are people, too, let’s turn our attention to a remarkable presentation last week at the monthly meeting of Broward County Republicans by Trevor Loudon, their keynote speaker.

After warning the audience of a plan by the Russians to launch a nuclear attack on the US followed by an invasion of the Chinese, he explained that the people who surround President Barack Obama “fall into a wide category of radicals, Marxists, communists, and Americans who have joined together in a coordinated effort to overthrow capitalism and the Republic of the United States of America.”

Following that Russian nuking, he went on, “Cubans, Venezuelans and maybe Mexicans will loot Southern U.S.” and that the “Chinese have US water supplies mapped so they can safely settle after nuking & invasion.”

He noted that “immigration reform is part of plan for socialist takeover,’ no doubt facilitated by Democratic members of Congress whom he said are “Marxist radicals” who hang out with communists. These would be the same Democrats who “lost Vietnam War. They were ‘allied with communists.’ Those Commies were ‘allied with Soviets’.

You can find these and more right here, and, for more laughs (he’s got a million of ‘em), visit his blog.

Keep in mind this wasn’t some crackpot Teabagger sideshow, but the monthly meeting of the county’s establishment ‘Pubs. Party Chairman Tom Truex was there.

After the speech, Truex declined to say what he agreed and disagreed with from the speech. “I’m not going to fact check everything he said, but he represents a point of view that I think is worth listening to,” he said.

Asked if he thinks it risks making the Republican Party look extreme, Truex said, “Well, I don’t know if I would call his view extreme. It’s a view that is maybe not completely mainstream, but it’s a view a lot of people have.”

Such candor and courage! No wonder he’s Mister Chairman.

And then there’s Bob Wolfe, founder and co-chairman of the Lauderdale Beach Republican Club, who wondered on his Twitter account, “Where’s the John Birch society when we need them at Broward REC?”

Seriously, guys? This is the leadership you bring to the table, your vision of the future? These are the men of wisdom and judgment who will call the shots, divide up the money, and write the rules? This is the Republican party of Broward County, Florida?

See ya. If you need me, I’ll be at the beach.

In typical Libtard fashion, you don’t bother to site data or refute his statements here, you just point and sneer, convinced of your own righteous grasp on truth and reality.

    • Squathole says:

I feel your pain, ‘Nonymous. I guess the reason these libturds and moonbats and other haters of America don’t bother to refute statements like “immigration reform is part of a plan for a socialist takeover” is because it’s so obviously true there can’t be any argument, not because it’s the stupidest-ass foaming blather of a fart-faced bloviator making a living selling absurdity to illiterates.

      • Beardsley says:

What Squathole said, but not as nicely. And plus also you wrote “site” instead of “cite,” which would lose you an entire grade back when I was teaching.

  2. Dawgbowl says:

Does the John Birch Society still exist? I hadn’t t heard a thing about them for years until just recently, when it was pointed out that the Koch Brothers’ father was one of the founders.

  3. Piles says:

I think they’re just doing their part to remind us all that Florida is a southern state, even if it doesn’t always seem like one in Broward County.
